Roku Taxi is described, on Rohan Kulkarni's own site, as a community taxi-hailing app for auto drivers, launched with free accidental insurance cover for the 2,000 plus drivers on the platform. That is close to the whole of the documented record: the app, the drivers, the cover, and the timing. Everything else worth saying about it is either general or is not established at all.
As general commentary, accidental cover is one of the few instruments that can sit in front of a risk without asking the person carrying that risk to pay at the moment it lands. For anyone whose earnings depend on being able to drive, an injury tends to arrive as two costs at once, the treatment and the interrupted income. Insurance removes neither. It moves part of the first one somewhere else. Nothing on the record describes the terms of this particular policy, its limits, or what triggers a claim.

Sharkify offered 3,248 internships in 2024, each paired with a voucher of Rs 50,000 toward the intern's own education. Bose Educator provides free quality education with smart classrooms and daily meals for 120 children living near the Jawahar Nagar dumping yard in Karmika Nagar. In both, something beyond the core offering is listed as part of the offering rather than beside it.
The timeline behind him runs through payments: Territory Relationship Manager at American Express (2017-2019), Area Manager for government business at Pine Labs (2019-2020), Director at Magno Pay (2021-2023), and Country Manager, India, cross-border payments, at D24 in Bengaluru. He founded Kaizer News in Hyderabad in 2024 and Vaksy, a legal tech platform for India and the UAE, in 2026. Those are titles, employers and dates. What he drew from any of it is not documented.
The one item on that list with outside press attached to it is Kaizer News. Telangana Today, in January 2025, placed Kaizer News Telugu third among the top 10 digital news channels in Telangana, at 27.1 lakh subscribers, and described the outlet as rewriting the rules of digital journalism through investigative, rural-first reporting. It is a separate venture, and nothing on the record connects it to Roku Taxi.
None of this settles much. Accidental cover does not set fares, does not settle anything else about how the platform runs, and does not by itself make a year of driving add up for the driver. It is a floor rather than a plan.
